
Elizabeth A. Kim is a litigator in the San Francisco office of Munger, Tolles & Olson. Her practice focuses primarily on complex civil litigation with a particular emphasis on legal issues faced by the technology and entertainment industries.

- The members of the Alliance for Creativity & Entertainment (the six member studios of the MPAA, Amazon and Netflix) in filing copyright litigation against TickBox TV for inducing infringement of their movies and television shows.

- The University of California in obtaining the dismissal of a lawsuit filed by conservative organizations alleging unlawful discrimination against speech by conservative speakers and groups at the University of California-Berkeley.
Ms. Kim also has an active pro bono practice and serves on the boards of directors of the National Center for Lesbian Rights and the AIDS Legal Referral Panel. In addition, Ms. Kim serves as a co-chair of the LGBTQ committee of the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Kim clerked for Justice Mariano-Florentino Cuéllar of the California Supreme Court, Judge Lucy H. Koh of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, and Judge Paul J. Watford of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Ms. Kim earned her J.D. from UC Berkeley School of Law, where she served as editor-in-chief of the California Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif. Ms. Kim graduated cum laude from Wellesley College with a B.A. in political science.
