Garner F. Kropp is an associate in King & Spalding’s San Francisco Office and a member of the firm’s Tort & Environmental practice group. He came to this team after beginning a career in epidemiology and statistics, and he uses this background in his practice litigating toxic torts and mass torts.
The bulk of Mr. Kropp’s litigation involves representing manufacturers in products liability and contamination matters. He offers clients a robust skill set in scientific and quantitative analyses throughout his legal counseling. Mr. Kropp serves in all phases of litigation, from complex discovery through trial.
In addition to his service in the tort team, Mr. Kropp contributes in labor and employment matters. He also successfully represented clients pro bono against federal agencies in the Northern District of California.
Mr. Kropp earned his Bachelor of Arts with honors in Economics from Stanford University. At the University of California-Berkeley, he earned a Master of Public Policy from the Goldman School and Juris Doctorate from the School of Law.
He served as Managing Editor for the Berkeley Business Law Journal and was selected as a teaching assistant in Torts for first-year law students. Prior to graduate school, he built a career in econometric research with big data for the Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
