Henry I. Frohsin
A veteran federal prosecutor and former First Assistant United States Attorney, Henry is well known for having taken on myriad brave, complex, and high-profile federal criminal prosecutions, including ground-breaking Ku Klux Klan and civil rights prosecutions in the early days of the Civil Rights Act.
As Chief of the Civil Division for the United States Attorney’s Office, he was engaged to represent virtually every agency of the federal government during his 15 year tenure.
With over 40 years of trial experience in both the public and private sectors and as the former head of litigation for one of Birmingham’s most respected old firms – Berkowitz Lefkovitz Isom & Kushner – Henry provides important insight and advice to Frohsin Barger & Walthall’s team.
A former municipal judge, Henry is also a respected mediator whose experience behind the bench and exhaustive experience as a trial lawyer offers hum a unique perspective for valuing and mediating cases.
Past Chairman of the Birmingham Area Chapter of the American Red Cross, Henry spends much of his time volunteering to steer major disaster relief efforts ad advance the ongoing mission of the American Red Cross. He also serves as General Counsel to Camp Smile-A-Mile, a camp for children oncology patients.
