Jason Popp is a partner in the Litigation & Trial Practice Group. He is a civil litigator with substantial experience in the False Claims Act, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and health care laws and regulations. Jason is a member of the firm’s Health Care Litigation and Government & Internal Investigations Groups.
Jason focuses his practice on defending clients against allegations of fraud and corruption. He has extensive experience defending companies against qui tam litigation and associated government investigations.
He has successfully defended clients in proceedings involving the Department of Justice, HHS Office of Inspector General, Securities and Exchange Commission, Federal Trade Commission, Department of Education, and various consumer protection offices and congressional committees.
Jason also represents clients in voluntary disclosures arising under the FCA and FCPA. In addition to his litigation practice, Jason assists companies in creating or improving their compliance programs.
Jason is a seasoned litigator. He has argued before federal courts of appeals and has represented clients in litigation throughout the country in complex matters involving the FCA, trade secrets and unfair trade practices statutes, products liability, and federal and state health care regulations.
