Jenna Kristal Egner joined Weitz & Luxenberg in 2016 as an associate attorney in our Mesothelioma and Asbestos Litigation department. Ms. Egner came to Weitz & Luxenberg from the Locks Law Firm in Philadelphia where she represented plaintiffs in various personal injury matters, including toxic exposure cases, defective drug and medical device litigation, product liability lawsuits, and mass tort claims.
Serving as second chair in a recent benzene trial, Ms. Egner received a plaintiffs’ verdict on her strict product liability claims against the defendant manufacturer. With an undergraduate degree in public policy from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University.
Ms. Egner moved to Washington, D.C., in 2010 to join the office of U.S. Senator Jon Tester. Working with Senator Tester’s constituents, Ms. Egner became engaged in the complex interplay between the legislative and legal processes. This inspired her to pursue a legal career that would join her passion for the law and policy to benefit others.
Ms. Egner is a 2014 graduate of The George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C. During her time in law school, Ms. Egner was a summer associate for the law firm Motley Rice where her work focused on mesothelioma and asbestos litigation.
After several years in the nation’s capital, Ms. Egner returned to her hometown of Philadelphia in furtherance of her dedication to client advocacy and fighting for the underdog.
