Galen G. Yu is an associate and intellectual property lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. He is a member of the firm’s Electronics Practice.Before entering law school, Mr. Yu worked for Pong Research Corporation, where he configured passive antennas in cellphone cases to reduce the magnitude of electromagnetic waves radiating from face-sides of cellphones.
In 2013, Mr. Yu served as a summer associate with Foley. While in law school, he was a member of the USC Intellectual Property and Technology Law Clinic, where he drafted and edited comments to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and the America Invents Act.
In addition, Mr. Yu also served as an extern with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Mr. Yu is a graduate of the University of Southern California Law School (J.D., 2013), where he was a member of the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Society.
He received his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles (B.S., 2010), where he was a member of Tau Beta Pi engineering honors society.
