
Joan Andrews is an Attorney at Fabian VanCott. She focuses her practice on Employment and Education law. Joan obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College in 1993 and received her Law degree at the University of Utah in 1997 where she was a member of the Utah Law Review and a William H. Leary Scholar.
Joan together with a team of Fabian VanCott attorneys tried a widely reported case involving the False Claims Act. She also represents clients in cases bordering on the Fair Labor Standards Act and Title VII.
In the area of Education law, Joan represents school districts, placing much focus on special education, as well as employment and First Amendment issues. Joan previously volunteered as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah for nine years.
Joan Andrews is admitted to practice in Utah State and Federal courts as well as the Tenth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Joan has been recognized as “Rising Star,” Mountain States Super Lawyers in 2008, 2010 and 2011.
