Joedy Thurston

Joedy W. Thurston is a Family Law Associate attorney at The Cantor Law Group, Phoenix Arizona where she focuses her family law practice on Divorce, Child Custody and Support and Parenting Responsibilities.

She graduated from Cornell University in 2003 having obtained her B.A. in Chemistry and East Asian Studies. She went on to secure a Master of Science Degree in Chemistry from the University of Arizona in 2005 and her Juris Doctorate from James E. Rogers College of Law, University of Arizona in 2011.

Joedy relentless effort in serving her clients and community has not gone unnoticed. She earned her the 2011 University of Arizona Law College Achievement Award.  She is also serving as the Vice-Chair in the Women in the Law section of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society.

She has also been inducted to serve as a member on the Board of Directors in the Arizona Asian American Bar Association. Joedy is a native speaker of Cantonese Chinese and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. She is also fluent in Spanish and works with Spanish translator at the firm to provide services to our Spanish-speaking clients.
