Jonathan obtained Bachelor of Science degrees in accounting and civil law, and finally, a Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University. He joined The Johnson Firm in 2006 and oversaw domestic and Personal Injury cases.
Jonathan is known for his intense attention to detail and analytical perspective, balanced with an empathetic and relatable nature. He has argued cases up to the Louisiana Supreme Court and is responsible for precedent law.
After just five years in practice, he was identified in 2011 as the “Most Outstanding Young Lawyer in Louisiana” – one award distributed annually amongst the 19,000 attorneys throughout the state by the Louisiana Bar Association.
Additionally, he was voted Super Lawyers Magazine’s Rising Star in 2012 and 2013 and recognized by Acadiana Profile Magazine as a Top Lawyer in Southwest Louisiana in both 2016 and 2017.
