Joseph G. Silver is a corporate and private equity lawyer with an international practice focused on representing private equity funds, venture capital funds and corporations with investments, mergers and acquisitions and corporate matters.
Joey has extensive experience serving as outside general counsel to technology and healthcare companies, including providing guidance on structuring and negotiating common and preferred stock investments, joint ventures, public/private and private/private mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. He works with institutional investors in fund formation and the purchase, sale and financing of their portfolio companies.
As counsel to numerous technology and healthcare companies and other growing businesses, Joey advises clients on various legal and business matters, including entity formation, corporate governance, capitalization, equity compensation, capital raising and customer contracts.
Joey is a member of the Firm’s Policy Committee and a member of the Leadership Committee of the US Private Equity practice.
