Kaitlyn Haase focuses her practice on intellectual property with an emphasis on protecting, enforcing, and defending trademark, copyright, and trade secret rights throughout the United States and internationally.
She regularly advises clients on a wide variety of intellectual property issues, including brand strategy and clearance, domestic and international trademark registration and maintenance, copyright enforcement, and the global use and protection of intellectual property, including uses in advertising, on the internet, and over various social media outlets.
Kaitlyn also assists her clients with prosecuting and defending trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board; litigating IP infringement actions before federal district courts; drafting and negotiating intellectual property agreements; filing DMCA takedown notices; and protecting her clients’ rights of publicity.
In addition to her Intellectual Property practice, Kaitlyn has guided clients through complex commercial litigation before state and federal courts, including cases involving breach of contract, unjust enrichment, shareholder disputes, business divorce, employment disputes, deceptive trade practices, fraud, conversion, negligence, and defamation.
Kaitlyn lives in the metro-Atlanta area and is a member of Atlanta Track Club and November Project. In her free time, Kaitlyn enjoys running, theatre, cheering for the Florida Gators and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, and spending time enjoying the city with her husband and labradoodle Chewie.
