Kristin A. Knudson is Partner at Johnson Knudson, LLC. Kristin provides legal representation for clients in Immigration matters. Her expertise stems from the experience she had garnered from years of intensive practice in immigration law and representing a diverse spectrum of clients.
Kristin started her career in Immigration Law at Safe-House Denver. She coordinated its immigration program and helped immigrant victims of domestic violence. She represented many asylum-seekers fleeing torture and persecution in their home countries and who sought refuge in the US.
Kristin graduated magna cum laude from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences minoring in Spanish. She studied law at Sturm College of Law, University of Denver and graduated in the top 7 per cent of her class.
Before she started her own practice, Kristin benefitted from the valuable experience she garnered at Allott Immigration Law Firm (2011-2013 where she handled cases in employment and family-based immigration, removal (deportation) defense, among others.
Kristin specializes in helping employers bring capable employees to the United States. Her work also includes advising and representing businesses on transferring their workers to the U.S.
She chairs The Access to Service Committee of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Colorado chapter since 2013 and the U Visa Working Group.
Kristin speaks fluent Spanish. This helps her in providing her legal service to a larger spectrum of clients, like her Spanish-speaking clientele.
