Lauren Bever is an associate in the Chicago office of Lewis Brisbois. Ms. Bever has handled dozens of depositions in products liability cases representing manufacturers, premises owners, suppliers and others in asbestos, toxic tort, and environmental litigation in cases pending in the state and federal courts of Illinois.
On behalf of these clients, Lauren has spear-headed formal discovery efforts along with the creative pursuit of documents and witnesses which provides valuable context to the allegations and proffered testimony. Ms. Bever has also developed particular expertise in matters involving Title VII, ADA, ADEA, the Illinois Human Rights Act, and employment discrimination.
She represents employers in state and federal courts, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, and local and state fair employment practices agencies. Prior to becoming an attorney, Lauren was a member of the legal department of a Fortune 50 Company.
