Lisa Burke is an experienced litigator who has focused her practice on complex civil litigation, primarily in employment law. She routinely handles cases involving employment separation, discrimination, retaliation, hostile work environment, and wage and hour violations/class actions. She fights for employees wrongfully hurt by the reckless decisions of their employers. Lisa graduated Seattle University School of Law, magna cum laude. Prior to law school, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree at the State University of New York at Albany, with a double major in Political Science and Sociology.
As a fierce employee advocate, Lisa appreciates the amount of courage it takes for an employee to stand up for her rights. She is honored to represent employees who have the courage to take a stand against illegal and discriminatory behavior. While most of Lisa’s experience has focused on employment litigation, she has similarly worked in the King County Prosecutor’s Office, the Washington State Attorney General’s Office, and the Washington State Court of Appeals. Whether advocating for clients in the courtroom or drafting a complex appeal, Lisa has seen and done it successfully. As one client aptly put it, “Lisa may not start the fight, but you know she is going to finish it.”
