
Prior to joining WilmerHale, Ms. Mairead K. Dolan was a law clerk for the Honorable Allison H. Eid of the Colorado Supreme Court. While there, Ms. Dolan reviewed and researched potential issues presented in petitions for certiorari and drafted and edited opinions and bench rulings.
Previously, Ms. Dolan was a summer associate at two other law firms in California. In those roles, she conducted research regarding national treatment of state and federal laws, prepared for oral arguments, and summarized briefs, cases and other court materials.
She also assisted with the formulation of trial strategy and in the preparation of opening and closing arguments. During law school, Ms. Dolan worked closely with Professor Eugene Volokh to draft and file amicus briefs in both state and federal court pertaining to a number of First Amendment issues.
After graduating from the University of California, Davis, Ms. Dolan worked in the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office as a legal intern for Assistant District Attorney Teresa Drenick.
