Margy Callesen focuses her practice in the area of public finance. She has served as bond counsel and counsel to underwriters, purchasers and borrowers in a variety of tax-exempt and taxable project and revenue bond financings.
Margy is experienced in general obligation debt, revenue bond debt, tax increment financing and special assessments, and New Markets Tax Credit, Low Income Housing Tax Credit and historic tax credit financings. She also has experience with a variety of conduit financings and 501(c)(3) bonds.
Margy is involved with a number of local charitable organizations, active with alumni and other activities for Kenyon College and is a member of the Kenyon Fund Executive Committee.
She is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers, the Ohio Chapter of Women in Public Finance and an associate member of the Northeast Ohio Law Directors Association. In 2013, Margy was named a “Woman of Professional Excellence” by the YWCA Greater Cleveland.
