
Mark S. Johnson is counsel in the Immigration practice group of Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s Atlanta office. He provides counsel to clients on a wide variety of business immigration matters, including labor certification applications, immigrant visa petitions, and obtaining nonimmigrant status.
Mr. Johnson also has significant experience with nonimmigrant work visas, PERM / permanent residence applications, and immigration-related agency investigations and audits. His expansive client base has included Fortune 100 corporations, small business owners, and individual clients from industries including manufacturing, financial services, and information technology.
Prior to transitioning to immigration law, Mr. Johnson successfully represented numerous corporate clients in proceedings related to compliance investigations by the U.S. Department of Labor.
He defended employers in agency investigations and the litigation of Title VII, Americans with Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, Employee Retirement Income Security Act, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, and state law claims related to employment.
Given his prior experience, Mr. Johnson also has extensive knowledge of labor and employment matters, with emphasis on wage and hour collective actions and employment discrimination claims.
