
Megan S. Demicco focuses her practice on outsourcing, technology licensing, and other complex commercial transactions. Ms. Demicco regularly assists clients with information technology and business process outsourcing, software licensing and support, cloud computing “as a service” (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS), electronic commerce, and other similar commercial transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Demicco was Assistant General Counsel at the Texas Department of Information Resources where she served as the primary state attorney for Texas.gov, the state’s eGovernment portal, a public-private partnership offering more than 1,000 online services for more than 100 publicly-funded customers.
Previously, Ms. Demicco was an Assistant Attorney General in the Child Support Division of the Office of the Attorney General of Texas where her duties included advising staff on outsourced service contracts and drafting and negotiating complex procurement documents for outsourced services.
