Michael J. Gross’s primary practice is counseling clients in all areas of intellectual property. He represents numerous national clients in this capacity, including such companies as Microsoft Corporation, Sprint, Cerner Innovation, Inc., and Nike, Inc.
Infringement and Validity Analysis — Conducted numerous infringement and validity analyses for major national clients in such diverse areas as computer software, telecommunications, structured mass transfer packing, soil sampling devices, athletic shoes and other sports items, heat treating processes and electronic gaming devices.
Intellectual Property Portfolio Analysis — Conducted numerous due diligence analyses of intellectual property portfolios as part of mergers and acquisitions teams. Also assists clients in evaluating third- party intellectual property for acquisition. Further, assists clients in monetizing their own patent portfolios.
Patent Prosecution — Represents numerous clients in the procurement of U.S. and international patents.
Intellectual Property Licensing — Conducted national and international licensing negotiations involving all aspects of intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyrights and technology know-how.
Trademark and Copyright Prosecution — Represents numerous clients in trademark and copyright procurement programs.
