Newman also maintains an active pro bono practice and is active in several international charities concerned with the plight of refugees.
Newman graduated first in his class at the University of Florida and was awarded a Rhodes scholarship to study at Oxford University, where his master’s research focused on the intersection of science, philosophy and religion. He then completed his J.D. at Harvard Law School, where he was also a teaching fellow.
