Nicholas J. Demeropolis is an associate in the Firm’s Houston office. His broad-based practice includes representing clients on matters involving contract disputes, tort liability, premises liability, alleged statutory violations, securities litigation, and internal and governmental investigations.
Nicholas has extensive experience in litigation process, including performing initial fact gathering and risk analysis; drafting and responding to pleadings, motions and discovery requests; working with expert witnesses; presenting testimony and oral arguments; negotiating settlements; and trial.
Nicholas has worked part-time as in-house counsel for a major midstream energy services company, where he was responsible for overseeing external attorneys and developing litigation strategy for a variety of matters including construction disputes, easement disputes, and personal injury claims.
He served in a similar role for a major mortgage servicer, managing a team of external attorneys, and for coordinating the defense of various Fortune 500 mortgage lenders and servicers in lawsuits involving allegations of breach of contract, fraud, wrongful foreclosure and various statutory violations.

- Represented general contractor in contract dispute with framing subcontractor relating to construction of multi-unit residential housing

- Represented major food processing company in contract dispute involving disputed change orders in connection with the construction of manufacturing facility
