
Ms. Robyn E. Marsh is an associate for the Litigation Department in the Chicago office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. Prior to joining Seyfarth Shaw, Ms. Marsh worked as a litigation associate at a boutique Chicago law firm specializing in products liability and professional liability defense. In that capacity, she represented and defended Fortune 500 domestic and foreign automobile manufacturers, appearing in both state and federal courts on behalf of her clients.
During law school, Ms. Marsh was a member of the DePaul Business and Commercial Law Journal and later became a member of the editorial staff. In the Fall of 2009, Ms. Marsh interned with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Northern District of Illinois, where under the supervision of an Assistant United States’ Attorney, prosecuted petty offenses in federal court.
Ms. Marsh’s current practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including cases involving restrictive covenants, misappropriation of trade secrets and intellectual property, unfair competition, contract disputes, and business-related torts. Ms. Marsh has represented a wide range of clients, including medical device manufacturers, automotive manufacturers, commercial and consumer product manufacturers, insurance companies, and a variety of private business owners.
She has represented and counseled clients through all phases and forms of litigation, including alternative dispute resolution, emergency injunctions, jury and bench trials, and appeals in a variety of jurisdictions in the United States. In addition, Ms. Marsh is experienced in pre-litigation counseling in the areas of trade secrets, restrictive covenants, and contract interpretation.
