Mr. Meador’s practice currently focuses on business expansion and general company counseling, including financing and business transactions, strategic relationships, and the protection and licensing of intellectual property, frequently for early-stage companies and their investors.
Mr. Meador has held leadership positions in a number of international organizations. He was elected Chairman of the Legal Services Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Korea and later President of the Korean American Chamber of Commerce for the North Pacific Coast.
He also served as Vice Chair of the US Vietnam Chamber of Commerce. He has been a member of the Executive Committee of the International Section of the California Bar Association since 2002 and served as Secretary in 2010.
Mr. Meador is a frequent public speaker and has delivered presentations to the California Bar Association, the Smithsonian Institution, and the Haas School of Business, among others. In his spare time, Mr. Meador serves as Entrepreneur in Residence at California State University Fullerton, where he mentors students and teaches the lean business model.
Mr. Meador attended law school at UC Berkeley’s Boalt Hall where he served as Executive Editor of the International Tax & Business Law Journal, Vice President of the International Law Society, and received the SK Yee Scholarship award.
