Roy Salins’ practice is devoted to representing management in all areas of labor and employment law, with a primary focus on litigation defense and providing clients with practical, day-to-day advice and counseling. Roy represents clients across a diverse set of industries such as hospitality and restaurants, entertainment and media, nonprofit organizations, financial services, education, retail, and manufacturing.
In his career, Roy has litigated the full array of employment cases in federal and state courts, administrative agencies, and arbitrations before FINRA, AAA and JAMS, including wage-and-hour class actions, and claims concerning discrimination, harassment, retaliation, reasonable accommodations, family and medical leave, and breach of contract.
Additionally, Roy counsels clients on labor and employment issues related to the entirety of the employment relationship, such as recruiting and hiring, employment agreements, family, medical and disability leave, accommodations for disability and religion, discipline and discharge of employees, and separation agreements.
Roy also devotes a significant portion of his practice to advising clients on matters concerning the enforceability of restrictive covenants, which includes the prosecution of, or defense against, post-employment restrictions as well as applications for emergency injunctive relief.
