
Sai Pidatala is Senior Counsel in the Corporate department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s Houston office. Aside from being an experienced US corporate transactional lawyer, he also spearheads the global Middle East and India practices in conjunction with the firm’s deep bench of international corporate & commercial attorneys.
Sai concentrates in M&A, cross-border transactions and other general corporate & commercial work spanning the US, the Middle East and key markets in Asia including Hong Kong and Singapore. He has worked at law firms in New York, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Sai advises clients in the energy, retail, hospitality, life sciences, logistics and manufacturing spaces. Additionally, he has provided advice on matters related to media & entertainment, technology & IP, joint ventures, reorganizations and financings for domestic and international clients including family offices, banks, high net worth individuals and multinational corporates.
A seasoned technology transactions attorney, Sai has negotiated and finalized complex licensing, outsourcing and tech transfer agreements while providing regulatory and compliance advice on cutting-edge data protection, privacy and cybersecurity issues.
Sai uniquely advises individual and corporate clients with business interests in and related to India. He maintains high profile relationships with legal and business contacts throughout India. Before practicing law, Sai worked at the Criminal Section of the Civil Rights Division of the United States Department of Justice where he assisted in US federal prosecutions.
Prior to joining Seyfarth Shaw LLP, Sai was a founding partner at a law firm based in Washington DC where he represented food & beverage industry clients, e-commerce portals, franchises, startups, investors and digital media companies of various sizes. He was also a Senior Associate and interim head of the Corporate Department at various international law firms based in Dubai.
