Sarah Beigbeder Petty has experience with intellectual property litigation in the ITC, the federal district courts and the Federal Circuit. She has assisted at trial on cases involving smartphone technologies, computer mouse products, digital camera technology, medical devices and patent ownership issues.
Ms. Petty handles all aspects of pretrial discovery, motion practice and trial preparation. She has experience taking and defending depositions of fact and expert witnesses; drafting motions and briefs; handling written discovery; preparing witnesses for trial; and conducting trial examinations of witnesses.
In 2011, Ms. Petty served for six months as an Assistant District Attorney for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. During her time as a prosecutor, she argued dozens of motions and tried ten cases to verdict.
