Sarah Patterson is a government relations manager in Williams Mullen’s Government Relations Practice. Sarah provides advocacy, lobbying and government relations services for companies and organizations before North Carolina’s General Assembly and state executive agencies.
She helps clients navigate issues within both the legislative and executive branches of government in North Carolina to help clients achieve their goals. She also assists with legislative and policy research, client communications, legislative staff communications, bill tracking, legislative and regulatory committee monitoring, and lobbyist and principal compliance.
She has also worked as a legislative and political affairs assistant at the Food Marketing Institute (FMI) in Arlington, Va., where she managed communication between FMI members and FMI’s government relations department on key issues impacting the supermarket industry and business community, including those relating to health care, tax reform, interchange and food safety.
Sarah earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Wofford College. While in college, she interned in the Office of Senator Lindsey Graham in Washington D.C.
