Alan Rosenthal’s primary practice areas are complex business, banking, and real estate litigation. Alan has been involved in complex commercial litigation for almost 40 years, litigating numerous high profile cases in both state and federal courts throughout Florida, as well as in New York and California. As counsel for both plaintiffs and defendants, he frequently first-chairs jury and bench trials and has argued a wide variety of appeals throughout the country.
He represents and counsels individuals, privately-held and publicly-traded corporations, and foreign corporations in numerous areas of the law, including contract claims, business fraud and related torts, warranties, unfair competition, trade secret and unfair business practices, shareholder disputes, labor-related litigation, employment discrimination, first amendment rights, trademarks, RICO fraud, manufacturing, and securities litigation. As an integral member of the national trial practice team, he advises in-house counsel on various areas, including media relations, real estate, employment, non-competition, and dispute resolution.
Alan is also an experienced negotiator of talent, promotion, and employment agreements in the media/entertainment industry. With each client, Alan invests a substantial amount of time to achieve an in-depth understanding of their business operations and help them to anticipate issues, and design and implement practical, cost-effective risk mitigation plans.
