Ana was born in Los Angeles, California. She earned her bachelor’s degree from California State University at Los Angeles, in 1999, where she graduated magna cum laude.
A graduate of Southwestern Law School, Ana received her Juris Doctorate degree in 2003. During law school, Ana was a member of the Southwestern Law Review, a student-edited journal, where two of her writings were published.
In addition to being on the Dean’s List throughout her tenure at Southwestern, she received achievement awards for excellence in several classes. She graduated top 20% of her class.
Upon being admitted to practice law in 2003, she worked for Knapp Petersen & Clarke as an associate attorney, practicing insurance defense litigation. Ana was part of a team of lawyers representing major insurance companies.
Prior to establishing her law office, Ana learned the practice of family law by working in Glendale at the offices of a reputable family law certified specialist. During this experience, she learned the skills and knowledge to effectively represent clients in family law matters.
