Brett Cole Peterson grew up on Northern California but fell in love with San Diego and knew I wanted to be part of the San Diego community. I enrolled at UC San Diego and earned a bachelor of arts in Quantitative Economics and Decision Science in 1995.
I knew I did not want to leave San Diego, so I attended University of San Diego School of Law and graduated in 1998. After graduation, for the next ten years, I gained experience at a leading plaintiff’s personal injury firm in San Diego followed by litigation positions at two well known firms practicing civil defense.
In 2008, after being frustrated by working for the interests of insurance companies who didn’t treat injured people fairly, I founded my own firm. Now I devote my time and efforts to protect the interests of injured individuals and make sure they are treated with dignity.
When not working, I like to enjoy San Diego: I enjoy exploring Balboa Park, trying new restaurants, hiking and being involved in alumni functions. At home, my attention turns to the animals I foster from a local pet shelter, and my new hobby: homebrewing beer!
