
Christine M. McDevitt is a Corporate & Securities associate in Mayer Brown’s Chicago office. Christine’s practice focuses on securities and capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and general corporate counseling.
She represents both issuers and underwriters in connection with public and private offerings of debt and equity securities, including debt-for-equity exchanges and split-off transactions.
In addition, Christine represents purchasers and sellers in national and international mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. In addition to her transactional work, Christine advises clients on corporate governance issues and advises public companies in a variety of industries on SEC compliance and reporting matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Christine served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Vice Chancellor Donald F. Parsons, Jr. on the Delaware Court of Chancery. Her practice draws from her experience on this preeminent business court.
