Mr. David N. Lefcowitz’s practice focuses on patent litigation in federal court and before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC). David advises the law firm community and clients on e-discovery best practices, emerging issues, and trends.
He has significant experience in all aspects of discovery, including responding to discovery requests, drafting pre-trial orders, briefing motions, assisting with deposition preparation, and deposing fact witnesses.
David also manages the establishment of data preservation, collection and processing protocols with in-house IT departments, litigation support and external vendors in complex litigation matters. He actively contributes to developing internal course materials and conducts ongoing training sessions regarding substantive and strategic areas of discovery for litigation/controversy matters.
David shares the firm’s commitment to pro bono work and the firm’s Veteran’s Assistance Program. He has represented clients on a pro bono basis in the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC), including a successful veteran’s disability rating appeal, which resulted in obtaining a 100% disability rating for the veteran.
