Eric A. Hoffman advises and represents employers in all areas of labor and employment law, including:
- Use, implementation, and enforcement of restrictive covenants
- Theft of trade secrets
- Discrimination, harassment and retaliation
- Education specific issues and concerns including Title IX, compliance, threat assessment, and student concerns
Prior to joining Littler, Eric practiced with a midsize regional law firm in Atlanta where he had a broad civil litigation practice including employment matters, tort, and malpractice litigation. In his practice, he represented both private and public employers in all aspects of employment litigation.
Eric holds a master’s degree in education with an emphasis in higher education administration. Prior to and during law school, Eric worked in multiple capacities for several higher education institutions.
Most recently he served as the Assistant Dean and Director of Student Conduct at Emory University, where he investigated and adjudicated Title IX cases. In that role he also served on the University Threat Assessment and Student Crisis Management teams.
During law school, Eric was an associate editor of the Georgia State University Law Review, and clerked for the Hon. Harold D. Melton at the Georgia Supreme Court.
