Hunter Chauvin is a litigator in the oil and gas industry with a concentration on legacy lawsuits and coastal land loss issues for major oil and gas companies. He has worked with experts across the globe to defend complex, multimillion dollar environmental cases.
His practice also includes assisting operators and service companies in maritime disputes and indemnity matters. At LSU, Hunter was a member of the Louisiana Law Review and the Student Educational Policy Committee, and served as Chairman of the Academics Committee.
He created a proposal to overhaul the LSU Law academic policies and presented it to the school’s Board of Trustees. The proposal was ultimately adopted by the LSU Law faculty and the Louisiana State University Systems Board of Supervisors.
