Jackie M. Robinson focuses his practice on entertainment and copyright matters. He counsels songwriters, composers, and publishers in high-value transactions involving the purchase and sale of music publishing assets.
His experience includes representing several estates in the sales of songwriter royalty streams and interests that were previously recaptured pursuant to U.S. copyright law. In addition to his transactional work, Jackie represents recording artists, producers, and other entities with respect to their music-related contractual matters.
He also drafts and negotiates agreements relating to the development, ownership, licensing, and transfer of other forms of intellectual property rights. While attending Stanford Law School, Jackie served as managing board member of the Stanford Law Review.
