Jeffrey Peters Coleman

Mr. Jeffrey Peters Coleman was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1985. His education includes Davidson College (B.A., 1981), Exeter University Law School, Exeter England and Marshall-Wythe at the College of William and Mary (J.D., 1985) where he received his Juris Doctorate.

He is a member of Phi Alpha Delta, and from 1984-85 served as a staff member of the International Law Newsletter. Mr. Coleman was a member of the Jessup International Moot Court Team, and from 1990-91 was Attorney for the Credit Union National Association League.

Memberships include the Florida Bar, Clearwater Bar (President, Young Lawyers, 1990), and American Bar (member, Litigation and Business Sections) Associations, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association.

Since he began practicing Law in 1985, Mr. Coleman has helped clients prepare for the “turns in the road” that life may bring. Over the years, Mr. Coleman has published articles in both professional and lay publications regarding securities fraud, asset protection and other associated subjects.

Likewise, he has also been a speaker for professional organizations including continuing education for attorneys, accountants, and legal assistants, as well as seminars to lay groups and stockbrokers.

In the public sector, Mr. Coleman actively supports and participates in fundraising activities for the Boy Scouts of America, volunteers for Operation Par, Inc., appears in the Pinellas County Public Schools for speaking engagements and provides legal support for the Alumni Association. He is a baritone soloist in a variety of choirs and has recently served on the board of his church.
