Jeremy David Wright

Jeremy David Wright serves as Chair of KPWH’s Class Action Practice section.

Mr. Wright is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia and the State of Texas. Mr. Wright’s practice concentrates on representation of employees before state and federal courts, the EEOC, and the MSPB, in both individual and class action litigation.

Mr. Wright has served as class counsel in Durnford v. Dept. of Justice, Lewis v. Dept. of Transportation (FAA), Boord v. Ashcroft, Garcia v. Dept. of Justice, Jones v. U.S. Postal Service, Hatcher v. Dept. of Veterans Affairs, Sedillo v. Dept. of Agriculture, McConnell v. U.S. Postal Service, Bailey v. Dept. of Veterans Affairs, and The TV Writers Case.Mr. Wright was a 2007 recipient of the Texas Law Fellowships Excellence in Public Interest Award.

Mr. Wright graduated from the University of Texas School of Law. Mr. Wright is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers Association, the American Constitution Society, the Freedom of Information Foundation of Texas, and the Austin Bar Association.

Mr. Wright published a paper entitled “Electronic Discovery and the Duty to Preserve Electronic Data.” Mr. Wright has published numerous legal columns for the Federal Employee News Digest. While in law school, Mr. Wright published “Federal Authority to Enforce Consent Decrees Against State Officials” in the Texas Forum on Civil Liberties and Civil Rights.

Prior to joining the firm as an Attorney, Mr. Wright worked for Senior United States District Judge William Wayne Justice (E.D. Tex.). Mr. Wright received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin.
