My practice focuses on family law, personal injury, wills & successions, and miscellaneous civil law issues. I am originally from New Orleans East and am a proud graduate of Lake Castle Elementary, Benjamin Franklin High School.
I have Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology and Civil Law, and a Juris Doctorate, all from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. I moved back to New Orleans in the summer of 2005 (bad timing). I first started practicing as an associate attorney for Roy Bowes in Gretna, Louisiana. After four years in which I gained valuable experience and knowledge of the surrounding court systems, I started the Shepherd Law Firm at the very end of 2009. My first office was on Canal St., in Mid-City.
I later moved to Metairie. Meanwhile, as my family grew we moved our home to Mandeville, Louisiana. I have since moved my home office to Mandeville also. I also have arrangements to meet clients in offices in Metairie, Mid-City, and Gretna.
I am quite familiar with all state courts in St. Tammany, Jefferson, Orleans, St. Charles, Lafourche, and St. John. I have practiced throughout Southeast Louisiana.
