John C. Cardello

John Cardello joined the Chapman Law Group in 2017. A graduate of the University of Texas (Austin) School of Law, he brings 20 years of litigation experience to the correctional healthcare practice team. John is licensed to practice law in Michigan, Florida and Texas, and has appeared before numerous state and federal courts including the 3rd, 5th and 6th Circuits.

With experience in such diverse fields as medical malpractice, employment law, admiralty and maritime law, product liability and toxic tort, his unique perspective provides exceptional value for his clients. Prior to embarking on a legal career, John proudly served his country as a Captain in the United States Air Force.

After earning a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy, he was an Instructor Navigator in the KC-135R Stratotanker, and served on wing staff as the Chief Tactics and Tactical Deception Officer.

John was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal and the Southwest Asia Service Medal with Bronze Service Star for his participation in Operation Desert Storm.
