Kari Jill Granville came to Arizona on an archery scholarship at Arizona State University. She left school to care for a family member, after which she traveled the world as a live stage production manager and lighting technician.
She returned to finish her Bachelor of Science in Political Science at ASU in 2000. KJ received her juris doctorate from ASU in May of 2004 with a Certificate in Law, Science, and Technology: Intellectual Property, the Dean’s Award of Recognition, and the Highest Pro Bono Distinction.
After graduation, Kari worked as a member of the ASU College of Law’s administrative staff, building from her previous local knowledge and institutional memory to develop stronger relationships between the law students and the community and tackling the practical execution of coordinating two new LL.M. and one new M.L.S. degree programs.
