Kristina Elizabeth Kelly is an experienced attorney currently serving as a Trust & Estates Associate from November 2016 with the law firm Diserio Martin O’Connor & Castiglioni LLP based in Stamford, Connecticut.

Her practice includes areas such as Estate Planning, Business Succession, Tax Planning, Fiduciary Representation, Trust and Estate Administration, Multigenerational Families & Family Offices, Residential Purchases and Sales, Mortgage Closings, and Refinancings.

She frequently represents beneficiaries and fiduciaries in legal issues before the Connecticut Probate and New York Surrogates Courts and also with the IRS, DRS and NYS Department of Taxation & Finance in obtaining estate tax clearance.

Before joining her current law firm, she worked with the law firm Reese, Hirsch, Schoults & Harrison, LLC in Ridgefield, Connecticut as an Estate Planning Attorney from August 2010 to  October 2016 for over six years.

Kristina Kelly routinely represented clients with trust & estate administration, estate planning, residential real estate, gifting, and elder law, while working there.

She served as the Trusts & Estates Attorney with the law firm Whitman Breed Abbott & Morgan LLC in Greenwich, Connecticut for over five years, from January 2005 to September 2010.

She worked at Stamford-based wealth management and investment firm named U.S. Trust Company N.A. as the Vice President & Corporate Secretary. The firm served institutions and high net-worth individuals. She focused on corporate governance and corporate philanthropy while working there for over nine years, from January 1996 to December 2004.

She completed her Juris Doctorate from the Brooklyn Law School in 2003 and B.A. in Philosophy from Manhattanville in 1994. She also holds the certification of a Notary Public. She obtained the license to practice law in the states of Connecticut and New York in the years 2003 and 2004 respectively.

Kristina Elizabeth Kelly won the David D. Greenstein Award for excellence in Employee Pension or Labor Law in June 2003 while studying in the Brooklyn Law School. She also received the J. Lemmon Prize and Saul Kripke Prize from the Philosophy Department, Manhattanville College in 1994 and 1993 respectively.
