Krunal K. Patel focuses his practice in a variety of financial transactions in both debt finance and credit enhancement. In the debt finance space, he has experience representing commercial banks and other financial institutions in a variety of financing structures, including secured and unsecured financing, asset-based lending, and bilateral and syndicated credit facilities, in a wide range of industries, such as healthcare, manufacturing, and commercial real estate.
In the credit enhancement space, he represents clients as bank counsel working on revenue bonds. Prior to his focus on debt finance and credit enhancement, Krunal represented clients in cases ranging from patent infringement and competition to regulatory investigations and employment labor disputes. He also has extensive experience in the pro bono sector where he represented clients in matters regarding consumer debt litigation.
Krunal attended the University of California Hastings College of the Law and served as the Senior Articles Editor of the Science and Technology Law Journal and Executive Submissions Editor of the Hasting’s Women’s Law Journal.
He also obtained an Intellectual Property concentration with a focus on patent misuse, antitrust, and international litigation. In addition to his law degree, Krunal holds a bachelor’s degree in business economics, with a focus on market structure and industrial organization.
