Attorney Lyn Eliovson is the founder and principal of the Law Offices of Eliovson & Tenore in Fairfield. The Firm’s practice focuses on Estate Planning and Administration, Wills and Trusts, Probate and Conservatorships, and Elder Law including Asset Protection. The firm encourages “Life Planning.”
She was recently appointed to the Alzheimer’s Association’s Public Policy Sub-Committee under the Board of Directors and continues to be an appointee to its Speakers’ Bureau. She sits on the Executive Committee of the Elder Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, is a member of the Estate and Probate Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association and past Co-Chairperson of the Stamford/Norwalk Regional Bar’s Elder Law Committee.
Atty. Eliovson is an active member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA/National and Connecticut Chapters) and a member of the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association’s Estates and Trusts and Elder Law Committees.
Atty. Eliovson has served on the Boards of the Southwestern Connecticut Agency on Aging (SWCAA), the Greater Bridgeport Elderly Services Council, the Connecticut Geriatric Medical Society and on the boards of several local civic groups.
She is the author of a Fairfield County Business Journal article, “Your Living Will: The Time is Now,”and Connecticut Law Tribune articles, “A Holistic Approach for Elder Law Clients” and “The Renaissance Practitioner – Elder Law as a Multi-Disciplinary Practice.” She is a frequent speaker in addition at the Alzheimer’s Association, at continuing education centers, senior centers, hospitals and support groups.
She received her J.D. Degree, with high honors, from Quinnipiac University School of Law. Her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude with the Academic Medal of Excellence, is from Sacred Heart University (inducted to alpha sigma lambda Honor Society); and her A.A.S. Degree, summa cum laude, from SUNY (inducted to sigma delta sigma Honor Society). She is a resident of Fairfield.
