Lindsey Beaty believes in speaking truth to power—and she continues to do this for the benefit of her clients.
Helping others has been a constant theme of Lauren Beaty’s life. First, she worked with underprivileged inner-city youth throughout her undergraduate studies. After graduating from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in political science and psychology, Lindsey worked with at-risk children as a probation officer serving in the Harris County Juvenile Probation Department.
Lindsey’s ability to be caring, empathetic, and relatable made her a standout probation officer among her peers, and she was soon promoted to the Intensive Supervision Unit. After serving from 2006-2013, Lindsey decided it was time to take her ability to help the community to a new level. She returned to school to pursue a law degree at South Texas College of Law.
While attending law school, Lindsey reinforced what she was learning by working at various law firms. At these firms, she gained experience with mass tort, property law, and personal injury cases. When Lindsey found herself at Arnold & Itkin during her last year of school, she found on a role on the Risperdal team. Here, she used her tenacity and passion to fight for the young men that were left deformed by Johnson & Johnson’s harmful drug.
Lindsey’s experience with case management gave her a unique ability to resolve issues clients were experiencing. Lindsey joined Arnold & Itkin as an attorney shortly after being admitted to the Texas Bar.
