Nabila Abdulhafiz is an Associate in the Atlanta office of Gordon & Rees and is a member of the Employment Law practice group. Ms. Abdulhafiz represents private companies and organizations in a wide variety of employment and labor union matters, including Title VII workplace discrimination, wage and hour disputes, ADA claims, EEOC matters, and various other federal and state law claims.
Ms. Abdulhafiz counsels clients with regards to non-competition and non-solicitation matters, employment agreements, separation agreements and other transactional employment-related issues. Additionally, she organizes and assists clients on internal workplace investigations and internal HR-related training programs and reviews employee handbooks.
Ms. Abdulhafiz received her J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law where she was involved with Lawyer on the Line, a pro bono clinic, where she provided pro bono research on employment related matters.
During her time at Wake Forest, Ms. Abdulhafiz participated in the Mictrotrade Development Clinic in Nicaragua where she performed work on intellectual property matters for the clinic’s Nicaraguan clients. Ms. Abdulhafiz also participated in Wake Forest’s Community and Business Law Clinic.
While a law student, Ms. Abdulhafiz was named the 2015 3L BLSA Scholarship Recipient. Ms. Abdulhafiz completed internships with the Honorable Frances H. Stacy of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas; and a summer clerkship with a Washington, D.C. firm.
Prior to law school, Ms. Abdulhafiz received her B.S., from the University of Texas at Austin. While at the University of Texas at Austin, Ms. Abdulhafiz served as President for Students for Eritrea and Ethiopia.
