Coordinate and support firm representation of Japanese clients in all practice areas. Assist immigration attorneys with the legal analyses and preparation and filing of all types of U.S. visa petitions and applications (temporary, i.e., nonimmigrant E, L, H and TN visas and permanent, i.e., green cards) relating to the international movement of business personnel and families.
Assist corporate attorneys with establishing and maintaining business entities in the U.S., e.g., business planning, articles and bylaws, operating agreements, merger and acquisitions, and associated legal matters.Assist employment attorneys with development of personnel policies for Japanese businesses and with various personnel actions, e.g., hiring, termination, and layoff of personnel, and wrongful termination legal proceedings.
