Sarah H. Shapiro joined her mother at Shapiro Law Offices in 2004, forming the only mother-daughter law practice in Middlesex County. Her practice includes Divorce Mediation, Real Estate, Evictions, Wills and Estates, and Probate Work.
Sarah received her B.A. in 2001 from the Lynch School of Education at Boston College, where she majored in Psychology and Human Development (Counseling in Education). She received her J.D. in 2004 from St. John’s University School of Law in Queens, New York. She is admitted to practice in Connecticut.
Sarah completed Mediator training through the CT Council for Divorce Mediation’s attorney-mediator training program in 2005. She is routinely appointed by the Superior Court to serve as a Special Master, helping litigants and their attorneys resolve disputed divorce cases through Alternative Dispute Resolution with the goal of avoiding trial.
