Stacey Bentley is counsel in the Labor & Employment department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. Ms. Bentley’s practice focuses on employment discrimination, harassment and retaliation litigation, including the representation of a wide variety of clients and corporate management against race, sex, age, and disability claims in federal and state courts and before various administrative agencies.
Ms. Bentley also has extensive experience litigating single-plaintiff and collective and class actions under the FLSA and state wage and hour laws. Over the past ten years, she has successfully defended employers in dozens of actions in the telecommunications, transportation, manufacturing, and retail industries.
Ms. Bentley routinely counsels clients outside of the litigation context, providing advice regarding various legal aspects of the employee/employer relationship, including hiring, discipline, termination, leave, exempt classification, pay, and compliance issues.
