
Britt Karp is an associate of Ellis Law Corporation. She has extensive experience representing clients in various areas of law, including personal injury and litigation and specializes in complex cases with catastrophic injuries. She practices in both state and federal courts.
Ms. Karp graduated cum laude from Occidental College in 2009 and from Southwestern Law School’s two-year accelerated J.D. program in 2011 where she was selected as a member of the Moot Court Honors Program.
Ms. Karp participated in the National Entertainment Law Moot Court Competition and was awarded 1st place for the brief she prepared for her team, beating out some of the top law schools in the country.
Ms. Karp was admitted to practice law in California in 2011 and is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles.
Prior to joining the firm, she practiced civil litigation defense at Marrone Robinson Frederick & Foster and insurance coverage litigation at Selman Breitman LLP. This diverse experience enables Ms. Karp to anticipate the opposing sides’ arguments and obtain the best results for our clients.
Ms. Karp is originally from Brooklyn, New York. In her spare time, she volunteers for the I Have A Dream Foundation as a mentor, roots for the NY Mets and spends time with her cat, Taco, and dog, Saxby.
