Catherine Cockerham focuses her practice primarily on insurance coverage disputes and other complex commercial litigation. Catherine advises and counsels major insurance carriers in the context of fraud, product liability claims, environmental liability coverage, and construction defect.
She has been involved in high-stakes arbitration hearings and is experienced in complex discovery disputes, fact development, depositions, fact and expert witness preparation, motion and brief drafting, and trial preparation.
Catherine also participates in Steptoe’s pro bono program and has worked on Title VII cases, securing a favorable settlement in a constructive eviction case. Catherine serves on Steptoe’s Hiring Committee.
